Pleasant Valley supports the Greenhouse Youth Outreach Ministry in Japan, operated by missionaries, Nathan and Nozomi Brownwell.  Nathan grew up as a "missionary kid" and now continues his parent's tradition there.  They live in Yokohama, Japan.  Nathan teaches at a RCA-founded school and Nozomi recruits and trains volunteers for Children and Worship.

Pleasant Valley also supports two World Vision children.  The first child is a seven year old and an only child.  Her parents struggle to provide for the family.  Her father is a farm laborer and her mother is a cook.  Despite their efforts, it is difficult to meet the family's needs.  The second child is ten years old.  She lives with her parents, one brother and one sister.  Her parents are both farmers but struggle to provide for the family's needs.
