We Look Forward To Meeting You!

Welcome to Pleasant Valley Reformed Church. The building is mostly barrier free. From the outside, there is a small entrance directly to our elevator. You can get to the Worship Center and basement from there. We’ve put together some information here that anticipates and tries to briefly answer some of the questions you may have prior to visiting our church for the first time:

Atmosphere

It's important to us that you feel welcome when visiting. We hope our atmosphere will help you feel relaxed and comfortable. When you walk (or take elevator) into the building, you'll enter the lobby/narthex. You'll find various folks standing around conversing. If you pause in the lobby, you'll have someone(s) come up & introduce themselves to you. We'll gladly answer any question you have. Notice the Information Center containing various things, including activity kits for children, a small refrigerator with cold drinks, and coffee. Help yourself to whatever - yes, you may bring your drink into the worship area & in the pew. After Worship & Praise, there is a Hospitality time offering coffee, cold drinks, and various snacks. The music and worship are built around Biblical themes that are timeless. We are glad to have you join us in worship! You will be greeted and welcomed.

Family Friendly

No matter your family dynamics, you're welcome at Pleasant Valley Reformed Church and we're excited for you to consider being a part of our church family! We have a family/children center upstairs that offers you a place to allow children to play & make noise and you may hear & participate in the worship service. The noise your children make isn't heard by us, but you can hear us. Ask anyone if you do not see the stair leading up. Our intent is to serve the whole family.

Sermon

From the pulpit you will hear sound expository preaching. The focus of each sermon is built around the point of the Biblical text being addressed.

Biblical Teaching

Here at Pleasant Valley Reformed Church, we place a high priority on the preaching and teaching of God's Word. The worship service is a time for us to come together as a community to learn, be encouraged and to be challenged by God's Word. Other opportunities exist beyond the Sunday worship service where members have a chance to grow, fellowship, or otherwise be a part of a Church family that lives out their faith together.
